1 Day Course
Elevate your therapy practice with our One-Day Pregnancy Massage Course, designed for qualified massage therapists ready to expand their skills and support clients during pregnancy. This gentle, nurturing treatment addresses the unique physical and emotional needs of expectant mothers. You'll gain the theoretical knowledge and hands-on techniques needed to deliver safe, effective care during pregnancy.

By the end of this course, you’ll be equipped to provide safe, nurturing pregnancy massages that address common discomforts and support expectant mothers’ wellbeing. You’ll understand how to adapt techniques and positioning throughout pregnancy to ensure comfort and safety.
Course content:

Pregnancy Massage Principles & Safety: Understanding benefits, contraindications, and adapting treatments for each trimester.

Anatomy & Physiological Changes: Key pregnancy-related body changes affecting massage techniques.

Client Consultation & Positioning: Safe client assessment and comfortable positioning with cushions and bolsters.

Modified Massage Techniques: Adjusting pressure and strokes to relieve common pregnancy discomforts.

Therapist Body Mechanics & Communication: Proper posture for therapists and effective client communication and care.

Who can attend?
Students are required to have a basic massage certificate or have completed the Certificate in Swedish Massage Therapy before being accepted onto this course.

Cost: £249 (group training) | £299 (one-to-one training)
Duration: 1 Day, 9am-4pm (7 hours, including 30 minute lunch break)

Certification: An ABT accredited Certificate of Completion of Pregnancy Massage will be awarded at the end of the course.

This accredited one-day course provides a recognized qualification, allowing participants to obtain professional insurance and offer Pregnancy Massage as a chargeable service.
